Makers - Roles & Responsibilities

  • Continuously work on developing relevant skills, such as coding, design thinking, project management, and communication.

  • Represent the community positively and promote its goals and initiatives within the broader campus and local community.

  • Makers should embrace a growth mindset and should be committed to continuous learning. You should actively seek opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills, whether through formal training, self-study, or interaction with experts and industry professionals.

  • Embrace a growth mindset and be willing to step out of your comfort zone to explore new areas of learning and making.

  • Makers should actively participate in community-building activities, such as organizing events, welcoming new makers, and building an inclusive and collaborative environment.

  • Attend community meetings, workshops, and activities regularly to stay engaged and updated.

  • Uphold the community's values of ethical considerations, inclusivity, and respect for diverse perspectives.

  • Provide feedback and suggestions to help improve the community's programs and resources.

  • Makers are encouraged to share their knowledge and expertise with others in the community. This could involve conducting workshops, mentoring other makers, or contributing to the community's knowledge repository.
