On your TinkerHub organizer dashboard, click Study Jams in the left sidebar to see a list of Active, Draft, and Past jams.
Active: Shows ongoing or upcoming Study Jams.
Draft: Contains Study Jams you’ve started but haven’t published.
Past: Lists completed or archived Study Jams.
Create New: Use this button to start a new Study Jam.
Click Create New to bring up the Study Jam creation form.
Study Jam Title: Provide a descriptive name (e.g., Flutter 101 Guide).
Starts / Ends On: Starts when the first lesson is scheduled and ends when the last lesson concludes.
Stacks / Skills: Select the relevant technology stack or skill area (e.g., Swift, Python, etc.).
Advanced Settings :
Campus Exclusive: Restrict the jam to a specific campus/community.
Limited Seat Event: Set a maximum participant limit.
Description: Summarize what participants will learn.
Click Create to save your new Study Jam as a Draft.
After creating your Study Jam, you’ll land on the overview page. This is where you’ll add hosts, facilitators, resources, and lessons.
Facilitators: Add people who will help conduct sessions.
Host: Assign the main organizer or “owner” of this Study Jam.
Resources: Upload links or files to support learning.
Lessons: Create individual sessions, set schedules, and mark them as mandatory or optional.
Each Study Jam is made up of lessons or sessions. Click Add Lesson (or Create lesson) to schedule them.
Activity Title: e.g., Flutter UI Guide.
Description: Summarize what this lesson covers.
Date & Time: Set the start and end.
Mandatory or Optional:
Mandatory: Participants must attend to avoid being dropped.
Optional: Encouraged but not required.
Mode: Choose Online or Offline.
Location / Map Link: Provide a venue or a virtual meeting link.
Click Create to finalize the lesson.
Use the Resources button to provide links, documents, or any other learning materials.
Resource Title: Give it a clear, concise name (e.g., Rahul’s presentation).
Resource Link: Paste the URL (Google Drive, GitHub repo, etc.).
Add more: Continue adding as many resources as needed.
Click Add to save.
In the Facilitators section, click Add to invite additional organizers or subject-matter experts.
Check the names of the individuals you want to add.
Facilitators can schedule lessons, manage attendance, and assist participants.
Click Add when you’re done selecting.
Click Add under the Host section to select a host from your community members.
Use the Search field if the list is long.
Select the host (e.g., Orlando Diggs).
Click Add to confirm.
Once you’ve added all necessary details:
Review the Study Jam in Draft mode to ensure accuracy.
Publish when ready. Participants can now see and register for your Study Jam.
Monitor Attendance: Keep track of who’s attending mandatory lessons.
